Project Vote Smart's National Bus Tour
To gear up for the upcoming elections in November, Project Vote Smart is putting its Voter's Self-Defense System on a national bus tour. Aboard the 45-foot, red and blue bus, there are 12 computer stations, a film theater, free wi-fi, and various other unique exhibits to help voters strip away candidates' hype and spin. All are invited to come to the the 2nd Annual Accessibility For All Fair at Piatt Park to learn more about Project Vote Smart and the free voter education resources they provide.Project Vote Smart is a national research organization founded by leaders such as former presidents Ford and Carter. Over the past 16 years, volunteers, students, and staff have been working to build a database of factual, unbiased information on 40,000 incumbents and candidates at every level of the government.
