Krohn Conservatory reports dismal ringtone sales
CINCINNATI - Eden Park's Krohn Conservatory reported this week disappointing sales results for its newly released line of ringtones. Conservatory officials introduced the ringtones with the hope of invigorating the image of the local nature exhibit by piquing the interest of younger consumers. Conservatory Director, Paul Anderson said, "We had especially high hopes for the ringtone that mimics the sound of a gentle breeze whispering through a gorgeous cluster of elegant day lilies. Every time my phone rings I feel like those beautiful day lilies are all around me."
Since the release on the new ringtones last month, there have been no orders to date. Anderson further commented, "We definitely over estimated consumer interest in ringtones inspired by a greenhouse facility." Another ringtone in the collection is the whimsical sound of a Monarch butterfly during winter migration. Anderson said the Monarch sound was very difficult to isolate which increased the production cost of the ringtone. "Our research indicates children love butterflies so we are perplexed by the lack of interest in this ringtone.".
Other products currently under consideration by the Conservatory are Krohn belt buckles, Krohn fake tattoos, and Krohn teeth grills.
