Ted Williamsí children agree to build life size bobble head figure with fatherís corpse.

Embroiled in a legal battle over what to do with Ted Williamsí remains, the baseball legendís children struck an agreement today to use their Fatherís body to build a life size working bobble head figure for display in the Baseball Hall of Fame. This comes after an intense debate of options ranging from traditional burial to cryogenic freezing. In an exclusive statement to DerfMagazine.com, Ted Williams Jr. said, "We think this is a fitting tribute to our father because the bobble head doll represents baseballís era of innocence that my father was closely associated with." Regarding the procedure for constructing the worldís first human bobble head, Master Bobble Head Craftsman Walter Jamison commented, "First the body will be heavily preserved. Then the head will be removed from the body so the giant spring can be installed on the head. Although this is a new procedure, we have used cadavers to make several successful prototypes." Curators at the Hall of Fame say they plan to make the display interactive by allowing visitors to nudge the head from time to time to keep the bobbling action going
